Tree can grow up to 25' tall. They require two trees for cross pollination to produce fruit. The tree is naturally an understory tree, so try to plant it near other trees or in partial shade. The fruit from the tree is edible, with a variable banana to mango flavor; however, beware of cooking the plant as heat can intensify gastrointestinal distress in humans. As with all new food, sample the fruit before eating large quantities.
