Join us on September 11 from 10:00 AM–Noon as we help clean up along the Grand River in Ionia! Volunteers of all ages are welcome.

We will be removing litter and debris outside of the Ionia fairgrounds along the Ionia river trail and the banks of the Grand River. All cleanup equipment, including trash grabbers, bags, gloves, and sharps containers, will be provided, along with light snacks.

Please bring a water bottle, wear closed-toe shoes, and dress in clothes that can get dirty. Long pants are encouraged.

The Grand River through Ionia has stretches where litter and debris tend to build up, especially after heavy rain events and from stormwater and agricultural runoff upstream. Join us as we remove trash and debris to support a healthier river, stronger neighborhoods, and cleaner water for everyone downstream!
